RE: Blower, Turbo, Nitrous, or N/A on the Street Whats Your Preference

I liked my roots blower. Daily driving it it was well mannered and still had some grunt waiting if you dropped the hammer. Plus it was dead reliable. I daily drove 100 miles a day and racked up 90,000 on the blower before I sold it and it's still going strong. It was sitting on top of a stock 02 explorer motor I dropped in my bird and was tuned by Jerry.

I still say it was the blue pulley that made the difference ....

Along with Timb's experience, I have heard a lot of positive feedback on the low boost SVO blower application. I helped Timb with his install, and except for putting in the new fuel pump, and drilling and tapping for the ACT gauge, it was like installing a new intake. No big deal.

If you're looking for monster power, it's not for you, but if you just want a little more to play with on the street, without building up your shortblock, if you keep the tune conservative and drive sensibly, the SVO blower works ... You can get it ported for NPI, or PI heads from the factory.

Timb had his in an Exploder swapped T-Bird, and the Bird perked up pretty well....
