			<description><![CDATA[Had fun today, and most importantly, I did not break anything  :)  <br />

I made three passes - a 12.5, 12.4, and a 12.8.  Traction was a problem, and was getting worse with each run, so I called it a day after the third pass.  Wendy and I ended the day going to Sonny's for some BBQ, then to the outlet mall for some shopping.  :)<br />

That's a 100% pump gas, safe, street tune as only Aric can do.  The T-Trim is spinning about 80% boost.<br />

The really good news is that GB is coming home to sunny South Florida so I can cruise around the streets of Stuart. <br />

GB was designed, engineered and built to be a street driven hot rod, not a dyno or trailer queen, so we're gonna give her a long distance trip to Florida (8 hours), and a few of months of good solid daily driver break-in, to make sure all her systems hold up under the hot conditions ...  Then I'll bring her back up to Kennesaw to tweak whatever may need tweaking.  If all goes well, we'll put some race fuel in her, maybe swap in a smaller pulley ...  and Aric will see just how high the numbers can go --  can you say "money shot?"  By the way Aric is one of only two tuners in the world that Scott and I trust for that job   .. We'll add a race tune to the flip chip and back to Florida she goes to terrorize Moroso .. well now they call it Palm Beach International Raceway, but it'll always be Moroso to me.<br />

There are many reasons why Injected's shop is always as busy as it is.  Let's see:  Knowledge; Experience; Skill; Old School Commitment to Excellence; Customer Service; Straight Talk ...  just to name a few<br />

Well, having Olde Towne waitresses and Pink Pony girls    in the waiting room may have something to do with it, too ....<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Took the SRT8 Magnum to the track for MCE this past Saturday. I ran the car three times and sat back and watched for the most part since I achieved the time that I wanted to. <br />
The race weight was 4480 and I ran on street Toyo Proxes 4 tires at 36 PSI. The times were:<br />
12.541 @ 112.43 mph (took off at 700 rpms)<br />
12.664 @ 111.45 mph (took off at 1000 rpms)<br />
12.803 @ 112.25 mph (took off at 1500 rpms)<br />

I think that the car can do a bit better with the tires aired down to give a little more RPMs off the line.  The 12.803 I put too many rpms on the clock and the track was getting cold. With a better 60', I could have run a 12.4XX that time. I still think that a 12.3XX is doable as the car sits today. I am thinking of taking it back to Ryan and Aric to get a re-read on the AFR since the tune was done PRIOR to the t-stat, pulley and hand ported TB. I also am waiting for the TCM programming that I HOPE Diablo will be coming out with soon. Call me crazy but I think that I might be able to get a 12.2 outta this thing on stock heads, 20" rims, street tires and stock torque converter. One thing to note, the cam that I have in the car is a very small cam so I am even more impressed with the power that the car is putting down, especially at this weight.
