What does the reputation mean?

What does the reputation mean?

The reputation that is listed under the avatar on each user?

It essentially means that you are well respected by the other forum posters. If someone has helped you with something on the forum or you are friends with them, you can give them a positive reputation. If you have someone who comes on and never has anything positive to contribute, you can give them a negative reputation. Also based on that, I can have the site ban someone who's reputation goes too low.

don't get any ideas, it doesn't work on admin's
